Jo Reese, Marketing Rep
Tate Music Group
Advice is a writer and an artist with integrity and morality. He is introducing to the world the ability to remain positive in content while commanding the attention of the most negative of individuals. From the time of birth, Advice has been surrounded by entertainment. One could say that he has been on stage since before he was born, due to the fact that his mother sang in Detroit nightclubs while she was pregnant with him. Later in Advice's life, he found a true love in hip-hop that intensified over his high school years. After some bad choices in college, Advice lost a scholarship and was incarcerated. These circumstances forced Advice to probe deep within himself and find what his purpose was. After the birth of his second child, Advice moved to Los Angeles and started from scratch. Advice's first breakthrough came when his single "Move" was featured on the 2008 premiere of MTV's "Making the Band 4." He eventually found himself moving closer to God and began studying scripture relentlessly. With his faith growing stronger through spiritual maturity and a relationship with Christ, more opportunities arose in music, television, and voice over work. In 2009, Advice executive produced and wrote his first professionally done solo album entitled "Mechanism 48." Off the heels of "48" came a non-exclusive production record deal with Tate Music Group.
